God’s Commitment to You in 2020

2020- The Year of

Declaring And Receiving God’s Promises

2020 the year of DECLARING

There is life and death in your words

‘Speak Life”

5780 (2020)

The Jewish evaluation is the word

PEY – Peh

Means: Mouth

  • To decree
  • To create
  • To declare
  • To bind and lose

In this year of pey, we are to declare and receive our inheritance, shift our focus (vision) and speak life daily into the areas we live and minister to.

  • Personally
  • Family
  • Jobs
  • Sphere of influence

2020 The Year of …. Declaring God’s Word in and through your life

We looked at:

  • GOD declaring over you  in 2020

God’s declaration (promise)
over you in 2020

Phil. 1:6

“being confident of this, that I who began a good work in you will complete it

“My promise”

God’s declaration (promise)
over you in 2020

2 Cor 1:20

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

“Yes”- from God

“Amen” from Us

We began with

God’s declaration (promise) over you in 2020

  • (God’s Part)

&

  • (Our Part)

John 10:10 for 2020

The thief (enemy) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Gal 6:9 for 2020

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give in.

Important insight to remember In 2020

God works through promises

1 Kings 8:56 “Praise be to the LORD, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed.

Ps 145:13 The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.

Throughout  time God works through promises

  • Adam & Eve-  Restoration of Man- Gen 3
  • Noah- Flood/Rainbow- Gen. 6
  • Abraham –  a Mighty Nation – Gen 12
  • Joseph- Ruler – Gen 37
  • Moses – Deliverer Israel – Ex 3
  • Joshua- Posses the Land – Josh. 1
  • Israel- Messiah – Is. 9
  • Mankind- a Savior – Matt. 1
  • Those who accept Christ—
  • Promises Fulfilled –

2 Cor 1: 20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes ” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God

When God makes a promise- He intends to keep  “it”

In Scripture
Conditional Format

“If… then”

“If you will”

“Then I will”

2Chron. 7:14
IF my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their ways, THEN I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

If you will…

Then I…

“CAN”
