Declaring God’s Word in and through your life

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

dear brothers and sisters… I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past mistakes and failures and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the PRIZE for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Prize
Prize can be translated as the promise (reward)
Heb 10:35-36
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to press on so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Promise
It is one of the foundational principals in scripture
Today in society a promise means very little
- (marriage, integrity, business “my word on it”)
- People are more and more leary of any kind of commitment
- Our courts are filled with “broken promises”
But..
When God makes a promise
He intends to keep “it”
