Breakthrough in the Days Ahead
Next I want us to look at:
“Breakthrough Mindset”
A fixed mental attitude or spiritual disposition that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations
A predetermined course of acting and thinking
A bias
A belief system
What are the characteristics of a Spirit-led Breakthrough Mindset for the remainder of 2020?
- Vision beyond what we can understand or see (future)
Many people’s faith- limited to their understanding
Must make sense
Heb 11:1-3 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Matt 21:22 If you believe, you will receive
- Speaking life into every situation
Don’t speak death
God works on the positive
“On earth as it is in heaven”
Luke 6:45 For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.
Ps 39:1 I will put a muzzle on my mouth
Ps 35:28 My tongue will speak of your righteousness and of your praises all day long.
James 1:26 If anyone considers himself a person of faith and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself
Eph 5:19-20 Speak to one another with songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,.. 20 always giving thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Not giving the enemy any entry point
(unbelief)
Enemy is a thief
Appeals to logic, carnal, intellect
Know if stand in faith he is the loser
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;
Gen 3:1 “Did God really say,
1 Peter 5:8 Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour
- Seeing every situation from the Lord’s perspective
God is greater
When Lord enters in, everything changes
“Lord how am I to see this”
Matt 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Ps 148:13 Let them praise the name of the LORD,
for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.

- Determined to see the Lord’s promises realized
will not think otherwise
Will not give up
Eph 6:13 stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Gal 6: 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Characteristics of a Breakthrough Mindset
- Living in confidence in the days ahead
Mind is made up
Know that you know
Just a matter of time
Rom 8:31 If God is for us, who can be against us
Phil 4:13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Phil 1: 6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ
