The Power of Grace

(For Ministry)


Pt 1

I said it’s very important that we begin
with very important statements
You will never be able to function in the full capacity of your ministry to the Lord ; to others ;  and in defeating the powers of the enemy, unless you understand the dynamics of God’s Grace.

The understanding of God’s Grace enables the Holy Spirit to be released in full potential.

When the Lord brought this revelation to me it changed my ministry.

Let’s lay the foundations in order to receive the new revelation of grace and ministry that the Lord has for the upcoming season of Revival.


We often say that God’s GRACE is His Unmerited Favor

But it goes far beyond this simple statement

Living in GRACE means…

The awareness of the Lord is with us

Understanding that we have access to God

The forgiveness of  sin and  freedom from condemnation

No longer being bound to WORKS  for His favor (earning approval)

No longer neutralized by  our failures

Defeats the tactics of the enemy

Releases the power of the Lord through us

Understanding Grace is a KEY receiving the Lord’s provision and living in His overcoming life.

Understanding Grace will enable you to see who you are and

live victoriously in your ministry and  destiny


The purpose of receiving God’s Grace is releasing God’s Grace (good work- ministry)

We are to become agents through which God’s Grace is released.

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power (God’s provision –Grace) when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses (releasers of Grace) in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

When God’s Grace is released the Kingdom of God is established.

The unmerited, undeserved unearned gift of God’s favor and blessings released through the completed sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross

And then through the believer to

continue the ministry of Jesus on earth

One of the key  purposes of God’s grace is to be proclaimed in and through our lives

Grace to you…

Grace through you

A key to releasing grace is proclaiming grace.

Speaking “grace” releases God

An example from the Bible

Speaking grace into your situation

is an important part of

seeing your prayers answered



The importance
Releasing Grace

  • Acknowledges our dependency on God
  • Neutralizes the enemy
  • Releases the Kingdom of God
  • Removes obstacles
  • Activates Faith
  • Creates Life…
  • Releases the Breakthrough (So Important)

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Mark 9:23

“If you can believe”. “Everything is possible for you.

We saw
The Power in releasing Grace

In order for us to release Breakthrough we must

receive and live in the power of God

The Lord did not intend us to be normal

He wants us to live dynamically

To deal with life’s situations with a conviction of overcoming

To not just make it through but to abound in every area

To experience  breakthrough in every challenge

The only way this is accomplished is to move in God’s Power

John 1:12

to those who received Him, and put their trust in His name, He gave them the power to become children of God

God’s Dynamic miraculous power is available and is to be release through us daily.

Eph 3:20-

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us

Initial comments

Jesus said

“You will receive power to become my witnesses

One translation says  “to reveal me”

the release of power is a revelation of Jesus

John 14: 12

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Rom 1:16

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes

Initial comments

This power is abundantly available to every

Spirit filled Christian
Miracles signs and wonders are supposed to be a part of our life on a regular basis

Unless we lay hold of this provision we will never

fully receive all that the Lord has for us and through us.

Much of our breakthrough only comes through

“power encounters”


Key objective of the enemy is to neutralize the power of God in and through our lives

John 10:10

The thief comes only to robl and kill and destroy


By neutralizing our power he limits our effectiveness and robs our witness

By removing our power we present a

powerless Jesus to the world

Power definition

ability to do or act; capability of accomplishing something.

a person or thing that possesses or exercises authority or influence.

The ability or capacity to perform or act effectively

strength, force or energy

Let’s Look at
The Results of
“power robbery”

  • Fear

  • Worry

  • Stress

  • Unbelief

  • Faithlessness

  • Bondage

  • Loss of vision

  • Loss of  hope

  • Loss of relationship

  • Loss of destiny

  • Reasons we need God’s power (GRACE)

  • defeat the works of the enemy

  • set those who are in bondage free

  • to provide a place where God can move

  • changes circumstances

  • establishes the Kingdom of God

  • required for the victorious Christian life

  • brings glory to God

The Power in Releasing Grace

Luke 4:18-19

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,  because he has anointed me

to declare good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind,

to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
