- New York Bombings
- Removal the “moral compass” in this nation
- Reformulating the principles on which this nation was built
- Redefining foundational structures such as the family, authority and religious freedoms
In the midst of
all this
I’ve got “GOOD NEWS”
The Lord says I not only know the beginning from end I also know the end from the beginning (Is. 46:10)
The Lord says He will cover and protect us as we look to Him
He will cover and protect us Isa 43:1-3
He says, “Don’t be afraid, because I am with you. I have called you by name, and you are mine.
Jesus said
John 10:10
I came to give you life— so you can live life in joy and abundance, so Be Confident and know I am with you. (VPV)
Phil 1:6
Be Confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Jer 29:11-14
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and Be Confident you will find me when you seek me with all your heart
If that’s the case
What are the reasons we can be confident in the future?

God loves us more than we can know (love)
Jer 31:3 I have loved you with an everlasting love
Rom 8:39-9:1 Nothing can separate us from the love of God

God doesn’t hold our mistakes against us (forgiveness)
Grace
1 John 1:9 he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and remove them from us
Acts 10:43 everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”

The Lord desires to meet our needs (provision)
He is our source
Phil 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
What are the reasons we can be confident in the future?

The Lord will never break His Promise to Us (promise keeper)
What you hold in your heart
Ps 145:13-14 The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.

The Lord is always here for us (near)
Jere 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you

With the Lord in our lives nothing is impossible. (powerful)
Matt. 19:26 with God all things are possible.”
Nothing can stop his will for us

With the Lord in our lives no challenge in life will overwhelm us
Not, fear, worry, sickness, loss or robbery in any form (confidence)
We can live in peace and victory
Is. 54:17 no weapon formed against us will prevail
What are the reasons we can be confident in the future?

God’s plan for our life is better than we can imagine (destiny)
From Surviving to thriving
We can live a life in Celebration

The Lord is committed to us (committed)
He wants to see us succeed
1 John 5:14-15
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him
What are the reasons we can be confident in the future?

He died so we can live (savior)
He took our sins upon himself
Gave us life on earth and life in heaven
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Each day..
All we have to do is ask in childlike faith
And then.. Let Him
James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you.
