- it’s estimated that up to 50 million Christians will not vote in the midterm elections
- if the faith Voters voted we would control all of the elections:
- Presidency, Senate, Congress, Governors, School Boards etc.
- There are 384 thousand Christian Churches in America (Wall Builders)
- Only 2.8% of the Pastors are talking about the elections and bring the relevancy of the Gospel today
- It’s time that we take this Nation back

One of the most important Gifts for the days ahead-
The Gift of Discerning of spirits
- Is one of the least understood spiritual gifts
- Everyone can and needs to operate powerfully and effectively in this gift to wage spiritual warfare effectively.
- It is less understood than most of the others gifts because, as with deliverance and the demonic realm there is limited teaching on it.
Discerning of spirits (definition)
Is the supernatural ability to judge or discern whether the true nature of a thing, is good or evil. It is the ability to see or know what spirit is operating in a person, place or thing.
Scriptural Warnings
Matt 13: 22 In the end time many ploys of the enemy will come to deceive. Even God’s people if that were possible

- Human spirit (man)

Important
Recognizing which spirit is involved in a given situation requires moving in the “Gift of the Discerning of spirits” which is essentially being sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
How to recognize spiritual attacks signs of enemy involvement
- Low self-image (unworthy, a failure, no good – a constant undermining of the self-identity.)
- Confusion in thinking (sometimes great difficulty in remembering things)
- Inability to believe (even when the person wants to)
- Incorrect evaluations- perceiving anger, hostility, in others when it doesn’t really exist – seeing only judgment in the scriptures
- Nightmares causing fear (often having demonic images)
- Controlling thoughts (suicidal, homicidal, self-abuse)
- Fear – panic attacks – phobias
- Anger – easily set off emotionally rage
- Constant guilt – self-condemnation,
- Depression and despondency (frequently continual despair)
- Drug, alcohol addictions
- Eating obsessions – bulimia addictions, anorexia nervosa
- Compulsive sexual thoughts ( pornography, adultery, fornication, perversions)
- Physical attacks — from headaches to cancer/outward manifestations
Door ways for enemy’s involvement
- Occult involvement (Ouija boards, fortunetelling, horoscopes, palm reading, etc.)
- Unforgiving spirit- holding on to past grievances.
- Disobedience to the Lord
- Dependence on outside sources (drugs, alcohol, etc.)
- Incorrect relationships ( family disorders, wrong contacts, etc.)
- Lack of knowledge (ignorance, not knowing how enemy works/objective)

- Do you want Victory in and through your life?
- Do you want to see those that God has put on your heart set free?
- Do you want to experience the power of God through your life?
- Do you want to hear “Well done good and faithful servant”?
- It’s time to move in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit
How many know? Greater is He (in and through me) than he who is in the world.

Prayer in Gift of Discerning of Spirits:
Lord, I take authority over the enemy’s involvement in this (person(s), place, situation)
I take back any permission that was given and close any area of access. I bind the evil spirit(s) (name if Holy Spirit reveals) and command it to leave and cover (person(s), place, situation) with the blood of Jesus . Holy Spirit come and fill any area that was taken by the enemy. I declare freedom in Jesus’ name. (anoint with oil when possible)
Over the past weeks I’ve been inundated with people going through spiritual attacks. ( time of the year, harvest time, Halloween)
We have to know how to discern and deal with the enemy in the days ahead

- Rob- take away, hijack, rip off, disrupt, deceive
- Kill -terminate, put to death, neutralize
- Destroy- damage, sabotage, ruin

2 Cor 10:3-5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ
