Let’s set the stage for

How to stay in the place where MIRACLES HAPPEN

When we bind   the enemy’s involvement miracles are free to happen

Matt 16:19  I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind (forbid)

on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose (permit) on earth

will be loosed in heaven.”

Luke 10:19 I have given you authority…to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

 

We looked at

Do miracles still happen?

• Do miracles come  from faith or fantasy?
• Are past  miracles just superstations?
• Are miracles just “quirks” of nature?
• Are miracles just for “special people”?
• Can we ask for miracles in our life?

Word says..

Heb 13: 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever

John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

We saw why people exclude themselves from miracles

• Unrealistic (childish, immature)
• Feel unworthy
• Lack of faith
• Past let downs (afraid to hope)
• Loss of hope (gave up)
• Loss of relationship with the Lord
• Incorrect understanding of God ways

Results..

• “There’s no solution”
• “I don’t see how this could happen”
• “It’s impossible”
• “It will never work”
• “Things are too bad”
• “This is beyond fixing”
• “We might as well quit”

Do you need a Miracle?

There is a way and a position we must take to be in a place to receive miracles.

• We said that Miracles
• are key and common events in the life of the Christian.

Examples

• Noah on the arc (safety, security)
• Abraham receiving God’s promise (fruitfulness)
• Moses before Pharaoh ( power over oppression)
• Wilderness (God’s provision)
• David confronts Goliath (victory against the odds)
• Nation of Israel (God gives victory over enemies)
• Jesus life (contact with the Father)
• Disciples (miracles, provision and defeat of the enemy)
• Us today (God’s promises of all needs will be met)

What is the MIRACLE ZONE

That place of communion with God led by the Holy Spirit

that results in a confidence of knowing that there are no barriers, no limitations or impossibilities in God’s

purpose and plans for my life

A place of knowing that “my God will supply all my needs and the challenges I face are just the means through which His provision will unfold”.

• Think victoriously  (spirit-not soul)

Not just positively

No doubt allowed

Temptation to give in

Rom 12:2 be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Gods will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.

1 Cor 2:16 But we have the mind of Christ.

Prov. 23:7 for is a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

Matt 21:21-22 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Matt 19:26 With God all things are possible.”

• Look for  God’s doorway in the midst of the challenge

What is it you would have me learn-at the beginning

Miracles unfold

1 Cor 10:13

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Ps 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way.
