Hebrews 12:15
Rev.12:11

And God confirms His Word by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

  • But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ
  • See to it that no one misses the grace of God
  • They defeated the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;

Our focus for 2017 : Releasing the power of God through your life

If you’re only around people who don’t need a miracle

You’ll probably never see one

… Mark Lowry

“Most Christians are giving the word explanations when  they’re looking for demonstrations”

Turn to someone and say: “It’s all about the spiritual.”

Characteristics of a Victorious Christian A victorious Christian will need to-

Deal with the enemy

1 Peter 5:8-9 Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith

James 4:7 Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

2 Cor 2:11

We are to  know very well what Satan’s plans are.

The Word of God

Luke 21:8

He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’

Matt 24:24-25

Your enemies  will try to fool even the people God has chosen, if that is possible.  Now I have warned you about this before it happens.

2 Cor 11:14-15

Even Satan changes himself to look like an angel of light (truth).

Very Important to remember for the days ahead
3 Categories of  Spirits

1 Cor 10:13

There is no temptation which you  will experience that is unique. God has promised; he will not let you be  overwhelmed (out-powered) . But when you are tempted, he will give you the power to resist it and show you a way to victory.

Temptation / tempted

 Peirasmós (pi-ras-mos)

Personal Communion

I have found personal communion to be one of the most effective tools in:

  • Maintaining Intimacy with the Lord
  • Defeating The Attacks of the Enemy
  • Growth and effectiveness in ministry

The Powerful weapons of Personal Communion

we looked at

The Powerful weapons of Personal Communion Pt. 1

The Cup
(Blood of Jesus)

Rev 12:11 They defeated the enemy by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of their testimony;

When you call on the Blood of Jesus, you’re not just speaking empty words. You are making a demand on your Blood Covenant with God you received when you  accepted Jesus as your Savior.

The Power of the Blood
(The Cup)

  • Forgives our sins
  • Restores our relationship with God
  • Enables us to live in the peace of Christ
  • Releases  Healing
  • Provides Protection
  • Establishes our authority to the enemy
  • Releases the Power of God daily
  • Releases Victory into every area of our lives

The Bread (Provision)

The Bread represents provision and our platform of strength (testimony)

We looked at  Personal Confessions

Philip 4:19 “I am the God that supplies all your needs”

We looked The Word of Our Testimony

“Personal Confessions

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach the throne of grace (Communion Table) with confidence, so that we may ask for and receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this to remember me

.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

The 8 Steps of

“Personal Communion

Step 1

Appreciation

Thanksgiving

Begin by thanking the Lord for his grace. All the blessings in your life

Ps 100:4-5  Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;

give thanks to him and praise his name.  5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;

Then Praise Him (who He is)

Ps 135:1 Praise the name of the Lord; praise him, you servants of the Lord,

Ps 103:2

2 Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.

Step 2

Neutralize the enemy

Apply the Cup  (Blood of Jesus)

The reason why so many Christians are coming under such heavy attacks from both demons and evil people in this world is because they do not have God’s full protection on them.

The Blood has power and the enemy is defeated because of it! The work of the cross is the source of all of that power and don’t you forget it! Benny Hinn

Eph 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, (freedom from the enemy’s attacks) according to the riches of His grace

Matt 26:28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins (freedom from the enemy)

Step 3

Put on the Armor of God

Step 4

Declare your authority and victory through Christ

Confess – to agree

Isa 54:17

No weapon formed against you shall prosper

1 John 4:4-5

Greater is  He who is in you than he who is in the world.

1 Cor 15:57

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Step 5

Receive the Cup

Next

The Bread (Your testimony)

Step 6

Declare your Testimony- see Your Confessions of Faith

The Bread

Rec. 12:11They defeated the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;

Bring your needs to the Lord (specific)
Share your heart with God

Declare the Word ( see Personal Confessions)  against your needs

You don’t just visualize…

You need to verbalize

Pray in the Spirit

Step 7

Take the Bread

Steps 8

Declare Victory by Faith

“I receive answers to my prayers and I walk in victory this day in Jesus” name.”

1 John 5:14-15

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us — whatever we ask — we know that we have what we asked of him.

Rom 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

1 Cor 15:57

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 90: 14  & 17

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all of our days.

May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands .
