But YOU will receive power (the anointing) when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

In the last days I will pour out my spirit (Anointing) Fresh infilling of Holy Spirit
Turn to someone and say
“On earth as it is in heaven”
We first breakthrough in the spiritual realm
Then we see it in the physical realm
We continue Living in the Power of the Holy Spirit

I said
- Healing is a very important manifestation of the power of God
- A sign that the “Kingdom of God” is here

- The “Gift of Healing” is the most widely accepted of the 9 Gifts of the Spirit
- Our Lord brought it into prominence in that 90% of His earthly ministry had to do with healing the sick
Areas of Healing
- Physical
- Mental/Emotional
- Relationships (marriages, families, friendships)
- Spiritual (results of enemy’s involvement)
- Not restricted to humans
I asked
- Has anyone been healed by the Lord?
- Anyone need healing?
- Anyone who knows someone who needs healing?

Definition of the Gift of Healing
The supernatural curing of injuries, handicaps and diseases, emotional, physical and spiritual, most often without the aid of natural means or human skills.
They are manifestations of the Holy Spirit working through human channels to the person in need
They can happen instantly or unfold
They reveal the heart and compassion of God.
I want to continue to “stirring your faith”
Today I want to show you another video
We have seen many healings at Celebration – did not video them
As I said, the world says “show me don’t just tell me”
When you see a manifestation of the Holy Spirit it causes your faith to rise
Last week I showed you a video in a church service by a Pastor
Today I want to show you a video out in the streets by non clergy- regular people
This is going to be a common experience in the days ahead- Through you!

That’s why He’s preparing the church
It’s the work of the Holy Spirit

The Gift of Healing
To you and through you
Let me begin
The Lord’s first instruction to His disciples was
“heal the sick”
Matt 10:5-8
These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: … 7 As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.
- After His resurrection, there is no record of the Lord healing anyone
- During the 40 days between resurrection and ascension His ministry was preparing His disciples to continue His ministry
Immediately after Pentecost we see believers
- healing the sick
- raising the dead
- casting out evil spirits
Scriptural basis for healing
Mark 16:15-18
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. .. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; …. they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
Notice Jesus says
All who believe in me
Generally it is after the Baptism in the Holy Spirit that this occurs (Day of Pentecost)
Why?
The faith of the believer is increased
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth

Ingredients of Healing
- Word of God
2 Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart
Ps 107:20 He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Isa 55:11 So is my word …It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Know healing scriptures
Ps 41:3 The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.
1 Peter 2:24 by his wounds you have been healed.
3 John 2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers
Ex 15:26 For I am the LORD who heals you.”
Luke 9:1-2 He gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours
Mark 9:29 He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”
James 5:15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.
James 5:16 pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
- Faith
Step beyond natural

Mark 5:34 “Daughter, your faith has healed you.
Luke 17:19 then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
2 Cor 5:7 We live by faith, not by sight.
James 5:15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up
Heb 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see
- Oil
Represents the Holy Spirit
David, Temple, disciple’s ministry, all dedicated to the Lord
There will be occasions where you can anoint the person with oil
(anoint- homes, cars, kids, contracts, marriage vows,) On your key chain
Mark 6:13 They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
James 5:14-15 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well;
- Laying on of Hands
Touch heals
Releases Holy Spirit
Luke 6:19 and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.
Mark 5:27-30 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?
Matt 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Mark 16:18 they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
