But YOU will receive power (the anointing) when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

‘LIVING IN TE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT”
Today
1/3 of our nation feels that there is going to be civil war in the United States
20% feel that confrontation is the only way to make change (rest. marches demonstrations)
59% feel that violence is in the making
60% of people feel there is an atmosphere of division
85% feel that past policies are harming our nation
John 10:10 The thief comes to rob and kill and destroy But I have come that they may have life
Let me ask as we begin
Do you believe God has a purpose for your life (destiny)?
Do you believe that te Lord wants to assist you towards that goal?
Do you believe God can supernaturally intervene and direct your life?
Do you believe the Lord can lead you in the every day affairs of your life ( personally, family, job, ministry)?
Do you believe that the Lord has not excluded you from His plan
Do you believe that His plan is your plan?

Today I want to look at:
The Power of God
Acts 1:8 You shall receive POWER to be my witnesses
The Spirit filled life is filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. It is moving daily in the power and will of God which is to impact every area of our life.
It releases the supernatural power of God that releases “His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven”

The ‘spirit filled Christian lives in the power of God
-
The Lord did not intend us to be normal
-
He wants us to live dynamically
-
To deal with life’s situations with a conviction of overcoming
-
To not just make it through but to abound in every area
-
To experience breakthrough in every challenge
-
The only way this is accomplished is to move in God’s Power
The Lord is preparing the church for His next powerful move.
Greater than what we have experienced in the recent “powerful renewal.” (ex)
The next move is going to release demonstrations
through those who are desiring for the Holy Spirit
to move through their lives.
John 1:12
to those who received Him, and put their trust in His name, He gave them the power to become children of God
God’s Dynamic miraculous power is available and is to be released through us daily.
Eph 3:20-
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us
Let’s look at the “POWER OF GOD”
Power in the original language is:
DUNAMIS (power)
Explosive
Dynamic force
Miracle working power of God
Supernatural might
Boldness
Power that can dislodge any stronghold of unbelief
One of the key reasons why the Lord releases the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT is to ;
BELIEVE
The Key to moving in the Gift”s of the release of God’s power is
Believing
Mark 9:23
“If you can believe, everything is possible for you”.
God gives and increases our power to believe
Phil 2:13
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
Jesus said
Mark 9:23
“If you can believe”. “Everything is possible for him.
Matt 21:22
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.“
Paul says
I pray that you would come to understand the incredible power that is available for those who (to) believe. It is the same release of His mighty power that raised Christ from the dead

Mark 5:35-36
While Jesus was still speaking, some men came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue ruler. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher any more?” 36 Ignoring what they said, Jesus told the synagogue ruler, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

Mark 9:23-24 Jesus said. “Everything is possible for him who believes.” 24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
