Ephesians 1:16-18

I have not stopped giving thanks to God for you. I always remember you in my prayers, asking the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you will know him better. I pray also that you will have greater understanding in your heart so you will know the hope to which he has called us and that you will know how rich and glorious are the blessings God has promised his holy people. 2019 The Year of …. Possessing Your Breakthrough

Throughout this year remember… “It’s all about  the Spiritual”

  • “On earth as it is in heaven”
  • We first breakthrough in the spiritual real
  • Then we see it in the physical realm

Possessing a Breakthrough Mind-set

Prov 23:7 For as a man THINKS in his heart, so is he.

We began

How to make

Steps to make Breakthrough Decisions

(How to  make correct Decisions)

As I said

  • God has revealed His methods
  • If we wants to see Breakthrough
  • Do it “HIS WAY”
  • “I did it His Way”

We looked at examples of a Breakthrough Mindset

Today- Message

Know God –Know Breakthrough…

No God-No Breakthrough

I said last time
if you want to want to see Breakthrough you have to know God’s

  • Will
  • Plan
  • Ways

Knowing God Is essential to “Breakthrough” In 2019

As we move towards Breakthrough

The enemy’s purpose is to cause you to

  • Doubt God
  • Fear
  • Question God’s ways
  • Keep you from moving forward-trust
  • (forward moment is reducing his control)

The Lord has a Higher Purpose

  • The Key focus of the Lord’s:
  • guidance
  • actions
  • directing
  • teaching in our lives

Is not just to know His Will

But that we may

“ know Him”

What kind of relationship would it be if the only reason we sought God would be to find out what to do?

The Lord desires above all to reveal himself to us so that we may know Him

Throughout the ages God has been making Himself known

  • God Almighty Gen 1:1; 17:1; 35:11
  • The Provider Gen. 22:13-14
  • The Healer/Restorer Ex. 15:22–26
  • The Banner Ex. 17:8–16
  • The Rock/Fortress/Deliverer 2 Sam. 22:2
  • The King Ps. 10:16; Rev. 19:16
  • The Shepherd Ps. 23; Jn. 10:11
  • The Faithful God Lam. 3:22-23
  • The God who is there Ez 48:35
  • The Way Jn. 14:6
  • The Comforter Jn. 14:26; 2 Cor. 1:3

God’s Highest purpose for us is to …KNOW HIM

Phil 3: 8-10
Ps 46:10

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Jesus Christ my Lord. … I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead.

“Be still , and know that I am God;

“Knowing God ”

 knowing    NOT

knowing of”

Next

Key areas the Lord wants us to KNOW

Results: Breakthrough in our lives

  • His desire for Relationship is passionate

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world (you) that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jere 31:3  “I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with loving-kindness.

Jere 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know

  • His presence is real

Grow in greater sensitivity.

Able to sense the Lord’s leading (checks)

Ps 16:11 In Your presence is fullness of joy;

Matt 28:20 I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”

Ps. 140:13And I know that the righteous personally thank you, that good people are secure in your presence.

Deut 31:6 for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

  • Who You Are in Him

Rom 8:14-17 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.  So you should behave like God’s very own children, adopted into his family–calling him “Father, dear Father.“ ….And since we are his children, we will share his treasures–for everything God gives to his Son, Christ, is ours, too.

Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

  • How to grow in His peace

Not manipulated by fear, worry or anxiety

Deut 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you;

Ps 85:8 I will listen to what God the LORD will say; he promises peace to his people

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.

  • He will Provide

Phil 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Matt 7:7-11″Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.  “Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?  If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
Matt 18:19-20  “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”

  • His timing is perfect

His ways and timing are perfect

Ps 33:20 We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.

Ps 37:34 Wait for the LORD and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land;

Phil 4:5-6 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

  • His protection is constant

The enemy cannot penetrate

Hiding place

Ps. 140:13And I know that the righteous personally thank you, and they are secure in your presence.

Ps 4:8 I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Ps 122:7 May there be peace within your walls and security within your home.”

John 14: 27 Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

  • How to truly Trust in Him

Matt 6:25-26
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Isa 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

  • How to live in Him (Faith)

Luke 17:6  He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

John 14:12-13 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name,

Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

  • His Dream for Your Life is genuine

1 Cor 2:9 “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him“

Jer 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

  • His Promises are certain

Phil 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

2 Cor 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God

2 Thes 1:11-12 That our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.

Ps 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

  • His love is unshakable

Son, daughter, joint heir

John 15:13-14 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

Jer 31:3-4 “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness. 4 I will build you up again

Rom 8:39 nothing in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
