Knowing God Is essential to “Breakthrough”
In order for us to see Breakthrough
we must BELIEVE GOD for Breakthrough
Mark 9:23 “If you can believe”. “Everything is possible for you.
Belief Robbers
- Fear
- Worry
- Stress
- Unbelief
Jesus said
Mark 9:23 “If you can believe”. “Everything is possible for him.
Matt 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.“
Heb 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope (believe) for and certain for what we do not see.
- Belief/hope work from the head (thinking)
- Faith works from the heart (Spirit)
The Key to the receiving Breakthrough Believing
Mark 9:23
“If you can believe, everything is possible for you”.
Knowing God will give us and increases our
Ability to believe
Mark 9:24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
Phil 2:13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to believe Him.
Paul is saying:
I pray that you would come to understand the incredible power that is available for those who (to) believe. It is the same release of His mighty power that raised Christ from the dead

After we have received
God’s Power & ability to Believe For Breakthrough
Today I want us to look at
From Believing to Receiving Your Breakthrough
This is a very important time
it’s called the:
“in between time”
“In between” the promise and the Breakthrough
Isa 40:28-29 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary . His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength
The next area is
God’s Power & ability to STAND
This is a very important time
it’s called the:
“in between time”
“In between” the promise and the Breakthrough
It’s where many miss their Breakthrough
Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power

Rom 14:4 And he will stand , for the Lord is able to make him stand .
1 Cor 10:13 God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
1 Cor 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand strong. Let nothing move you
1 Cor 16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.
2 Cor 1: 21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.
Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand strong then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by any form of robbery.
The enemy’s purpose is to cause you to
- become discouraged
- become bound by doubt / fear / worry
- lose heart
- settle for less
- Give up (ourselves and others and God)
- Miss our “breakthrough”
1 Peter 5:9 Resist him, stand strong in the fait
Eph 6:10 Stand strong in the Lord and in his mighty power
Stand strong
- overcome
- establish
- prevail
- hold firm
How are we to stand ? …
Eph 6:10 strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
- Strong: be established, strengthen, make stable
- Power: ability, authority
Results of standing strong in the Lord
(in His promise of Breakthrough)
When we stand in the power of the Lord we become aware of
- His Awesome Power
His ability through us
Confidence
Ps 65:5-6 You are the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas. You have built the mountains by Your strength. You are dressed with power
Is. 40:26 Look at the night skies: Who do you think made all this? Who marches this army of stars out each night, counts them off, calls each by name -so magnificent! so powerful!- and never overlooks a single one?
Gen. 1:1 In the beginning God created…..
Rom 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- Constant Presence
Awareness of protection
Clarity of hearing
Deut 31:6 Be strong and courageous. … for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you
Ps 73:23 Yet I am always with you;
Ex 33:14 The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Josh 21: 45 Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.

A sense of peace
His favor
Ps 73:23 Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.
Gen 26:3 I will be with you and will bless you.
Phil 1:6 Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Jer 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
- His Assurance of breakthrough
Determination
Closer each day
unwavering
Prov 16:3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
2 Chron 15: 7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
2 Cor 1:21-22 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Matt 6:33 Put God first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.
When we stand in the power of the Lord we become aware of
- His Awesome Power
- His Constant Presence
- His Increase of Faith
- His Promises
- His Commitment
- His Assurance of breakthrough
