The Year 2016 of Grace and Mercy

The bottom line is God
The Lord Needs You

In 2016

On Tuesday, November 8 America will vote for its next President of the United States.

This is a special Sunday message approaching one of the most important decisions for this nation in the past 100 years.

The results of this decision will impact the next 40 to 50 years (2 + generation)

Voting – for the Christian is not Political-  It’s Spiritual

Video-  Pastor Tony Evans

Instructions for the Virginia Colony” in 1606: “Lastly and chiefly the way to prosper and achieve freedom and good success is to serve and fear God, the Giver of all Goodness.“

John Adams, our second president, wrote “Independence Day ought to be celebrated as the Day of Freedom by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty.”

Benjamin Franklin, : “I have lived, sir, a long time; and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of man. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it unprobable that an empire can rise  (remain free) without His aide?“

Daniel Webster: “If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering in freedom

America’s roots are deeply planted in the spiritual legacy of those pilgrims and early forefathers who established this nation “under God”.

They were, almost to a man, professing Christians who came to America in search of freedom.

Christians wrote the Constitution.

The idea that America would not be directed by the Word of God was not conceivable to those men.

They did not even feel it was necessary to mention the word Christian in the Constitution.

62 percent of Americans said they believe that God has given the United States a special role in human history.

  • From physical aide to nations in crisis
  • Missionary outreach
  • Financial Support
  • Our Personal And Religious Freedom offered to those who immigrate LEGALLY.
  • The right to life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness

America is a land of freedom based on its Judeo-Christian foundation.

It is on these principles that God has blessed America to impact the world.

These principles are in jeopardy and are being redefined.

Our nation is built on Godly principles which we have lost especially in these last years.

  • Redefinition of the family (Over 70 % of Americans voted against)
  • Removing Prayer (schoo
  • Removing the religious foundations of this nation
  • Redefining Our Nation’s Moral Perspective
  • Promoting Alternate Lifestyles beginning in Kindergarten
  • (LGBT- Neutral Gender Identification- No Boys & Girls)
  • Promotion of taxpayer funded abortions (3K per day)
  • Lawlessness / Open borders / Terrorist attacks
  • Governmental influence in every aspect of our lives (Schools, Medical, US Constitution)

We must regain the principles on which this nation was built

Government of the People, by the People, for the People.

(The Declaration Of Independence July 4,  1776)

How is this done ?

The answer is – We VOTE

Important

There are many reasons why people will be voting this Tuesday. Some vote out of a desire to do their civic duty, others vote to promote or oppose some candidate or special interest.

But, as Christians, our reasons should be different. By voting we should be seeking to glorify God with our participation in the political process.

We know we will account to God for all of our life, so we must vote with biblical discernment and prayerful consideration.

As those who enjoy the benefits of religious liberty and freedom to proclaim the gospel, we should be actively engaged as good stewards of these rights by voting for those who support our freedom.

Why Christians should vote

Voting publicly recognizes that we acknowledge the political system  established  by God.

Rom 13:1

Why Christians should vote

Voting is a way we can do something about Godly direction  in our nation.

‘All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing, Edmund Burke.

Psalms 34:14

Why Christians should vote

Voting is part of our stewardship (responsibility) to use all the resources we have been given in ways that honor God

Zec 7:14

How do we vote?

We compare the parties platforms with Scripture.

It is Time for us, our families, our church and our nation to rise and take that position and declare principles on which this nation has been built on.
