‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people.(the anointing) In those days I will pour out my Spirit on those who are serving me

2 Sam. 5:19-20

David said, “I watched the LORD break through like a mighty flood.” So he named the place “The Lord of the Breakthrough

Phil 1:3-6

Every time I remember you, I thank God in my prayers. My prayers for you are filled with joy because of your involvement in the gospel from the very beginning . Posture yourself in this mindset and be confident of this very thing, that God has started His work in you and will see that it is completed  when Jesus returns.

2019 The Year of ….Possessing  Your Breakthrough

Throughout this year remember…

“It’s all about  the Spiritual

“On earth as it is in heaven”

We first breakthrough in the spiritual realm

Then we see it in the physical realm

Prov 23:7 For as a man THINKS in his heart, so is he.

You will see breakthrough in 2019 to the degree you live in a

Breakthrough Mindset

if you want to want to see Breakthrough you have to know God’s

  • Will
  • Plan
  • Ways

Knowing God Is essential to “Breakthrough”

In 2019

we looked at

Believing God for Breakthrough

Jesus said

Mark 9:23 “If you can believe”. “Everything is possible for him.

Matt 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.“

Heb 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope (believe) for and certain for what we do not see.

  • Belief/hope work from the head (thinking)
  • Faith works from the heart (Spirit)

The Key to the receiving Breakthrough

Believing

Mark 9:23 “If you can believe, everything is possible for you”.

Knowing God will give us and increases our

Ability to believe

Mark 9:24  Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

Phil 2:13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to believe Him.

Paul is saying

I pray that you would come to understand the incredible power that is available for those who (to) believe. It is the same release of His mighty power that raised Christy from the dead

Power to believe

Power  <->    Ability

We looked at

Power to Believe

We looked at

From Believing to Receiving Your Breakthrough

God’s Power & ability to STAND

Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power

Eph 6:10 Finally, stand strong in the Lord and in his mighty power

Results of standing strong  in the Lord

(in His promise of Breakthrough)

We began

Posturing For Breakthrough

How to posture yourself until you receive

What is the position we are to take spiritually and mentally in order to ensure we receive what the Lord has promised

I call this “spiritual posturing”

Phil 1:3-6
1 John 5:14-15
MDV

Every time I remember you, I thank God in my prayers. My prayers for you are filled with joy because of your involvement in the gospel from the very beginning . Posture yourself in this mindset and be confident of this very thing, that God has started His work in you and will see that it is completed  when Jesus returns.

This is the posture we are to take: if we ask anything according to God’s will, he hears us and if we know that he hears we have what we asked for.

1 Cor 16:13 Be on your guard; posture yourself firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

Eph 6:10-11 Finally, posture yourself in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes

Col 1:23 So continue in your faith, posturing yourself established and firm, not moving from the hope held out in the gospel.

This is a very important time

it’s called the:

“in between time”

“In between” the promise and the Breakthrough

It looks like this

Promise -> Breakthrough

It’s important how we posture ourselves during this time

(It’s where many miss their Breakthrough)

POSTURE

  • attitude
  • stance
  • mindset
  • a determination
  • a focus

Posturing correctly is very important to defeating the enemy’s attempt to rob from us the Lord’s promise of Breakthrough.

1 Peter 5:8 Be vigilant because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;

1 Peter 5:9 Resist him, stand fast in the faith

Last time we looked at

How-to posture for Breakthrough  to defeat the enemy In the in-between times

  • Posturing to Defeat the enemy in the In-between times
  • Don’t allow negative thoughts to control you
  • Don’t allow yourself to become discouraged
  • Don’t allow yourself to become frustrated with God’s timing
  • Don’t miss the daily lessons each day
  • Don’t become isolated from other people
  • Don’t disconnect from God
  • Don’t Give up your Ground

Now that we understand how to

  • Posture to defeat the enemy

Now we want to know how to

  • Posture to receive Breakthrough

Let’s look at

How to posture for Breakthrough In-Between Times

  • Stay in faith

Live faith

Speak faith

2 Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you,

so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Heb 11:1,6 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and

certain of what we do not see .. And without faith it is impossible

to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Phil 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. For out of the overflow of the

heart the mouth speaks

  • No fear allowed

No discouragement.

No dread.

No fear of failure

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

2 Tim 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

  • Do not become anxious

Anxiety brings insecurity

Worry

Insensitivity

Phil 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything,

Matt 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself

Luke 12:25-26 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

  • Stay Faithful

Don’t grow weary

Prayer time

Tithe/offerings

Ministry

Matt 25:23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.

Gal 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up

Phil 4:13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

  • Do everything for the glory of God

Matt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven

Eph 6:7-8 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, 8 because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does,

Ps 145:1-2 I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.

1 Sam 12:24 But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart;

Matt 6:24 You cannot serve both God and Money.

  • Stay in God’s peace

Protection

Enables discernment

Permit sensitivity to the Lord

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.

Col 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,

Rom 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him

Gal 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Rom 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

  • Expect the increase

Pray believing

Speak/Think positive

Confess God’s provision

2 Cor 1:20 for no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God

Phil 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus

Eph 6:10 Posture yourself in confidence in the Lord’s ability
