Important
In order for us to see Breakthrough we must
BELIEVE GOD for Breakthrough
Mark 9:23 “If you can believe”. “Everything is possible for you.
One of the words that describe Christians is..
“BELIEVERS”
BELIEVE
- To place confidence in
- To accept as truth
- To have faith in
- To have confidence in
Remember…
Key objective of the enemy is to neutralize our ability to believe in God to work in and through our lives
John 10:10The thief comes only to rob and kill and destroy
PURPOSE
- By neutralizing our believing he limits or robs our hope
- Hinders our relationship with the Lord
- ROBS OUR FAITH
Matt 13:58 And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.
Mark 6:5 And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any mighty miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them.
Mark 16:14 He rebuked them for their stubborn unbelief because they refused to believe
Heb 3:19 So we see that because of their unbelief they were not able to enter his rest.
Belief Robbers
- Fear
- Worry
- Stress
- Unbelief
Reasons the Lord wants us to Believe
- defeat the works of the enemy in our lives/others
- to provide a place where God can move
- changes circumstances
- establishes the Kingdom of God
- enables the victorious Christian life
- brings glory to God
Jesus said
Mark 9:23 “If you can believe”. “Everything is possible for him.
Matt 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.“
Heb 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope (believe) for and certain for what we do not see.
- Belief/hope work from the head (thinking)
- Faith works from the heart (Spirit)
The Key to the receiving Breakthrough
Believing
Mark 9:23 “If you can believe, everything is possible for you”.
Knowing God will give us and increases our Ability to believe
Mark 9:24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
Phil 2:13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to believe Him.
Paul is saying
I pray that you would come to understand the incredible power that is available for those who (to) believe. It is the same release of His mighty power that raised Christ from the dead

- a person or thing that possesses or exercises authority or influence.
- The ABILITY or capacity to perform or act effectively

Mark 9:23-24 Jesus said. “Everything is possible for him who believes.” 24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

Mark 11:22-23
Jesus answered. “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
