Hebrews 2:4
1 Cor 15:57
2 Cor 10:3-5
Rev.12:11
Isa 59:19
And God confirms His Word by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ
They defeated the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;
When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.
Our focus for 2017 :
Releasing the power of God through your life
Turn to someone and say :
It’s All About the Spiritual”
Very Important to remember for the days ahead
3 Categories of Spirits
- Holy Spirit
- Human Spirit
- Evil Spirit
Characteristics of a Victorious Christian in the next move of God
A victorious Christian will need to-
Deal with the enemy

The Word of God

He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’
Matt 24:24-25
Your enemies will try to fool even the people God has chosen, if that is possible. Now I have warned you about this before it happens.
2 Cor 11:14-15
Even Satan changes himself to look like an angel of light (truth).
Remember
“We don’t fight FOR victory
We fight FROM victory”
“The enemy is not trying to attack God’s throne… he’s trying to steal yours”
In our last series we looked at
The Powerful weapons of Personal Communion

You are giving authority”
– Good News is..
When the dark becomes darker…
The Light becomes brighter

“I am the light of the world
“You are the light of the world”
We continue our focus in Defeating the Enemy-
Exposing the Tactics of the Enemy
Very Important
In order to see the BREAKTHROUGH in the Physical Realm
You have to BREAKTHROUGH in the Spiritual Realm
(It’s all Spiritual”)
Jesus said
Matt 6:9-10
- “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come(spiritual)
- your will be done on earth (physical)
- as it is in heaven (spiritual)
Don’t Allow the Enemy
Allow
- to give permission
- to yield to
- to accept
Important:
As a Christian the enemy cannot take from us unless we allow him
Exposing the Enemy’s Traps
-
Don’t allow the enemy to limit you
You must understand that you are not limited by
who you are or what you have done
What you think you can or cannot do
It’s through the power of the Holy Spirit
1 Cor 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Phil 4:13
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Matt 17:20
Nothing will be impossible for you if you believe.”
-
Don’t allow the enemy to limit God
In the garden.. God was limiting man
His plan is to cause you to doubt God
Your situation is beyond his help
God does not promise/cover this
Zech 4:6
‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
Jer 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
1 Cor 2:9
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”
Don’t Allow the Enemy
Allow …
to give permission
to yield to
to accept
Important:
As a Christian the enemy cannot take from us unless we allow him
-
Don’t allow the enemy to rob you
That’s his target -neutralize you- rob you of ministry
Be on guard
Robbery starts in the morning and will last the whole day
Wrong words/ poor night sleep/ rush hour/ bad news / meetings / Dr. appts
That’s why morning prayer/ personal communion for protection is so important
(Personal confessions? Armor of God)
Control of your day begins in the morning
Lam 3:23 His steadfast love is renewed every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Ps 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
“What worries you controls you”
-
Don’t allow the enemy to use your past to control your future
Accuser of your past failure
Don’t allow your past to naturalize you present and future
2 Cor 5:17
anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
Important
Don’t allow yesterday to wash over into today
Don’t allow the sun to set on your anger
You are not determined by your past, you are prepared by your past
Don’t allow the enemy to define your present circumstances
- The enemy will falsify things that are happening
- Cause you to draw conclusions in the middle of things
You Must see things from God’s perspectives
Looking from heaven not from earth
2 Cor. 5:7 Our life is lived by faith. We do not live by what we see in front of us.
Eph 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus
Your present circumstances can either define you or refine you
-
Don’t allow the enemy to cause you to speak death
Life and death in the tongue
You can curse yourself and others –enemy’s
Prov 18: 21 The tongue has the power of life and death,
God is released with the (+)

He comes to rob
Faith honors God
Doubt honors the enemy
Rom 12:3 God has given each man the measure of faith
Heb 10:38 For the ones pursuing God will live by faith.
Faith is responding to what God says your destiny is
-
Don’t allow the enemy to rob God’s promises
God directs through His promises
The Bible is a promise
Our tomorrow and our eternity is a promise
We lay hold of them by faith- God’s plan
John 10:10 A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life—life in all its fullness.
2 Cor. 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
