God needs You!    Pt.2

Discover your ministry and how to release the anointing through the power of the Holy Spirit. In this message Pastor Babish presents part one of “How to minister to others.”

At the beginning of this year th he Lord said “2016 The Year of Grace and Mercy

Ex 33:18-20,
Eph. 1:18-20

And he (Moses) said, “Please, show me Your glory.”Then the Lord said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy.

My prayer is that understanding will flood your heart and that you will understand the hope that was given to you when God chose you. Then you will discover the glorious blessings that will be yours together with all of God’s people.

I want you to know about the great and mighty power that God has for us followers. It is the same wonderful power he used 20when he raised Christ from death and let him sit at his right side in heaven.

… Lord show us Your Glory

As we have seen in previous messages in this series, due to the deterioration and the stripping away of the moral compass  with the purpose to redefine this nation, the Lord is calling the Church to “Rise Up” take our position and  release the anointing that we have been given.

The bottom line is “God Needs You!”

The Lord is preparing and equipping us For His Unfolding Plan for Revival

We saw as a Christian you have

• a calling
• a ministry
• a destiny

your calling is connected to your ministry

your ministry is connected to your destiny

Looks like this:  calling <-> ministry <-> destiny

• The Anointing…

The Anointing enables  us  to move beyond our abilities so we can step into the power of the Holy Spirit

What is the anointing?
(Simple definition)

“The anointing is- ” The presence and power of God “manifested.”

Manifest  is to..

• activate
• express
• reveal
• demonstrate    … the Love of God

 

The next area we want to examine is

“How to RELEASE the Anointing through  YOUR MINISTRY” Pt.2

Ministry
(definition)

The process and action of releasing the  anointing; using gifts, talents and callings from God ;  to afford others growth, assistance and aid in all areas- spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Many people say “I know that I am to be a witness of Christ on earth.

I know that the anointing of God has been given to me for a purpose.

I know that my destiny is related to my ministry.

I desire to be used by God and to be led by the Holy Spirit

I want to see my ministry for the Lord really help people

I want to be a “Doer of the Word”

but…

What does this mean and how do I do it?

Good Question !

Let’s move from the – to  +
Ministry???
So many Christians  fall into traps

So caught up in their own problems

“How can I focus on other people I have too many challenges of my own”

Not living in confident faith

“I don’t know if I can believe God to help others”

Just trying to make it through

“I’m just trying to hang in there myself”

Inward looking not outward looking

“I know they’re hurting people but I have needs too”

Not living in the victory God has intended

“I need to be have my problems resolved before I can minister to others

Results -Allowing lifeto dictate ministry’s effectiveness..

Results.. Ministry  “Neutralized”

4  Keys to Ministry

ACT, FEEL,  SAY, DO

• Act – what would Jesus act like
• Feel – what would Jesus feel inside
• Say – what would Jesus say
• Do- MINISTRY – What would Jesus Do  (Heal, set free, restore, offer salvation)

To live my my life where…

Jesus will be seen

Jesus will be heard

Jesus will be followed

And Jesus will be glorified

How to Release the Anointing and Minister to Others

• Recognize and acknowledge your position in Christ

V.I.

Who God says you are

You True identity

Rom 8: 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs — heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ

Rev 5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”

Colossians 2:10 and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority

Eph 2:6-10  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, … 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

 

• Ask for a special anointing for ministry

You uniqueness in Christ qualifies you to move in the supernatural. You’ve been given permission to make the impossible… possible

“Lord, I ask you to help me minister to…”

Matt 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you

I can do all things through Christ strengthens me (Phil.4:13)

 

• Acknowledged by faith the anointing that you’ve been given

After asking, confirm the answer to your request.

“I receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit to effectively minister “

Matt 16:19

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven

Mark 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons;

 

 

• Ask the person what areas they need help from God

Sometimes there are specific requests

Often it will begin with a general request and the Holy Spirit will reveal more.

James 1:5

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

 

• Lead the person into a personal relationship with Christ

Share His love

Often when people are hurting or in need, they are open to receive Christ’s help

Matt 11:28

“Come to me , all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

John 6:37

whoever comes to me I will never turn away

 

• Call on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, God’s Power and Word

Declare God’s word:

He is the healer, deliverer, comforter, provider, restorer…

Ask for the  Specific Gift of the Holy Spirit to be given

( Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom, Gift of Healing, Discerning of Spirits, Gift of Miracles…)

 

• Bind the enemy in every form of robbery

Speak directly to the area of attack

Spirit of fear, depression, sickness

“ I bind this area of…”

Matt 16:19
